"My Death Across the Border"
Please join an eye-opening discussion with Adonay Milla, who came to the United States as an unaccompanied minor from Honduras

On behalf of Safe Passage Project — a nonprofit that represents unaccompanied immigrant minors, and on whose Board of Directors I have served since 2015 — I hope you can join us on Wednesday, November 8th at 1 pm EST for a live conversation with one of our former clients, Adonay Milla, a self-published author, about his book My Death Across the Border (Mi muerte a través de la frontera), chronicling his migration story.
Earlier this year, we reconnected with Adonay, where he shared with us that he was publishing the English version of his book, and that he wanted to share his story with the Safe Passage Project community (and beyond, to other interested parties). In his book he describes the dangerous journey he made from Honduras to the United States when he was a teenager, his struggles living in New York and fighting for status, and the central role Safe Passage Project played in his life.
Please join us for a live virtual interview where we will learn more about Adonay’s life and why he decided to write his book. SPP will also be launching a seven-part newsletter series narrating Adonay’s journey in his own words.
Adonay’s powerful story gives insight into the violent forces that young migrants are confronted with while seeking safety and peace. We hope that you will join us along the way.
